The Gavel SE features Highly Educated's new Surface Enhanced quartz floor. The surface is engineered to substantially improve the efficiency of the oil vaporization process by increasing surface free energy, decreasing liquid surface tension, promoting nucleate boiling, and rapidly increasing evaporation rates. The enhancements were designed to be both extremely durable and easy to clean. While iso is recommended for cleaning any nail; maintenance can be managed with dry cotton swabs. This differs from the opaque which requires iso alcohol maintenance to avoid black carbon spots. The bottom is engraved and that engrave becomes visible through the top of the bucket when the surface is wet. When the floor is dry, the engrave is again hidden by the opacity of refracting light.
